2 months old!

My sweet Lucy is 2 months old!! Can't believe how fast time has flown!
She is 22 3/4" inches (75th percentile!) and 10 pounds, 7.5 ounces (50th percentile), with her head circumfereance in the 25th percentile (I think 37 cm).

She is so smiley and happy in the mornings- her smiles and cooes bring tears to my eyes and melt my heart! She has the neck strength of a four-month old with hardly any head-lag, when pulled up to sit. She's not a huge fan of tummy time, but loves to push up and hold her head up when laying on my chest. She likes to tease her mommy with occasional nights where she sleeps 6-7 hours, but lately she has been waking up every 4 hours or so... still trying to work on sleeping all the way through the night.

Fun things this month:
- sucessfully gone on her first camping trip with Daddy's roomates from college and their families! Yay for air-conditioned cabins! She also loved swimming in the salt-water pool while we were there. (more to come on another post)
- attended Uncle Sergei's high school graduation at the Dallas Convention Center
- gone to church twice (not quite in childcare yet....this will start next week!)
- taken her first trip to Waco for Aunt Carolyn and Uncle Daniel's birthday celebrations- she did great in the car to and from!
- did great with transitioning from sleeping in her Pack and Play to sleeping in her crib!
- finished up Square One with mom, a new moms class at Watermark. We met many new friends while in the class and hope to continue to meet as a playgroup!
- visited Aunt Liz in Denton for lunch
- visited Aunt Amy, Uncle David, cousins William, Nathan and Kathryn in Fort Worth to watch Daddy and other family members help build a new fence
- attended lots of Serna family celebration dinners (May and June are big birthday days!!)
- attended her first Bachelorette watching party at Aunt Paige and Uncle Marcos's house. Loved her snuggle time with Grandmommy and slept for 7 hours straight!!
- was a trooper getting her 2 month shots, although she was really fussy later that afternoon and evening- Mommy had Daddy come to the doctor's visit for moral support for the shots.

We are loving our sweet Lucy- she makes us smile every day and is such a joy!
