This is way, way late, but I wanted to post this, as it's one of our favorite things to do every Christmas season. For the past 5 or 6 years, our community group as gone to Walls Family Farm to cut down our Christmas trees. It's a fabulous experience- a family-owned and operated farm with hay-rides, hot cider, Christmas cookies, hot cocoa, and of course, the bliss of seeking out and cutting down the perfect Christmas tree. This is absolutely one of my favorite things we do all year and I totally look forward to it for weeks.
